Foreward:
I was asking people online what to write and do videos about, and one guy replied that Palestine needs all our help, so fair enough, and I began writing an article as just a way to get some thoughts focused, and to think about the things that might be unique to my perspective on the subject, or which I could at least present in a unique way ... and then I of course largely ignored that as I started recording video, using it only as a guide of sorts, but I recorded so much video, that I figured it was a bit too long for most people to be bothered watching, and recorded a 3rd video which is much shorter at under 20 minutes ... I am as I write this also editing the other two, to be a long form part 1 and part 2 if anyone wants to hear me speak longer, and I did say a few things along the way which I thought were quite worthy ideas, so I leave it to you to either just listen to the shorter video, or to listen to all of it or whatever.
Below is the article I began with, and some of which ideas are in those longer videos, and perhaps a few briefly touched on in the shorter one.

Intro:
When I decided to do this podcasting thing, it just happened to coincide with my birthday, and where a few dozen online friends went to my profile page and wished me a happy birthday, I decided to reply to them with a request, to give me a topic to speak on in my videos for my birthday … naturally, given the type of people I prefer in this world - ie: genuinely politically aware egalitarian humanitarian anti-war socialists - one of the first replies to this request was to suggest I speak about Gaza, because the Palestinians need everyone’s help. So this is my reply to that and related matters.
I decided to name this article “other-phobia” because it is not just about Islamophobia or Russophobia, but it is about the underlying causation OF the whole category of phobias which lead to all this hatred and killing - the fear of the other, the fear of the unknown.
As I write more of these articles and then record the videos, I am gradually evolving the templates I use and so on, so please excuse the rough nature of these first drafts, as I am doing all of this concurrently with trying to understand and fix all the issues and achieve my objectives around audiovisual recording editing streaming etc., but please let me know if you see things I can improve, especially if you have specific technical advice you’re willing to share on how it is done.
Main:
The Questions:
Why is it that people with power do evil things?
Why indeed do people willing to do evil things so typically gain power?
It seems to me these questions require several articles and videos to fully answer the question, but I will begin with the following:
We live in a world run by variations of an economic paradigm based on scarcity fear and control, which incentivises, nurtures, and rewards even the most extreme acts of narcissism, so long as you get away with it … the only counter force to this is an imperfectly written and understood and entirely separate system of laws, which are themselves corrupted by the same economic influences …
People with nefarious intentions tend to be willing to commit acts of violence and murder, they know full well that normal people just want to live in peace, and will preferably walk away from a fight, and so they just keep applying pressure until you back down, in order to get what they want, and if this requires them to murder people, well that person is no longer around to fight back, and so long as any allies of that person are a bit cowardly, perhaps unarmed pacifists, then what does it matter if they disagree with what you did?
Now that you’ve stolen the next set of resources, you can use them to make your position stronger, thus it becomes easier to bully or kill the next person and rob them, and the only thing that can stop you, is people willing to take up arms and to resist your threats and to support and protect each other from your threats, so that the law can actually be applied to you, by force if necessary.
It is sad but true, this is just the reality of it, and the facts of the matter are extremely well documented, dating back hundreds of years at least. Sadly also, many otherwise well meaning people do not understand this, do not want to admit the truth of it, they find it scary, and they even undermine and sabotage their own allies who do understand it, to stop those people fighting back effectively, because they mistakenly believe that a vegan diet, thoughts and prayers, the powers of manifestation, the invisible hand of the market, god, angels, or some other magical / mystical / supernatural force is going to save us all if we just believe in it strongly enough … all of which is of course horseshit, because nobody is coming to save anyone unless you get off your arse and actually DO something.
So we live in a world run by ideas and systems, which are biased towards those who hold themselves to a lower standard.
THINK ABOUT THAT … seriously, it is more profound a statement than you might realise at first.
People who genuinely want to live in a world where there is real freedom, real peace, real harmony, and so on, they need to step up, put in an effort first to understand themselves and the world around them, rather than just reacting to what they are told … to question, to analyse, and to learn HOW to question and analyse properly.
There is a great deal I could say on this subject, but I want to keep this article shorter, as that would be an entire body of work unto itself … for now, let us have a look at this common phobia that allows otherwise good people to support evil agendas.
The Phobia:
Here is a little reply I wrote to someone on Telegram:
… and that basically sums up what this whole thing is about from my perspective, it is a simple matter of brainwashing, misinformation, cowardice, bigotry, intellectual laziness, poor education and so on - the perfect “clusterfuckstorm(c)(tm)” (I figured I should reserve the rights on the upcoming feature film of the same name - joking of course) if you want to generate a brainwashed population of people who hate other people because you told them to.
Sadly though, I suspect what ends up happening is that after several generations of this behaviour, people start to become very close to or actually incurable of this disease of bigotry … because the bridge required for them to pass over into a different frame of mind, is just not something they can even see or understand, and whatever they see in its place, is just too confronting and scary, so instead they double down on the false belief.
Meanwhile, many of them are also ‘aspiring’ to be like the very arseholes who brainwashed them in the first place, because they see the power wealth and fame of those people as very attractive, and they see the difficulties of those of us who fight against it as very unattractive, in much the same way as many ‘journalists’ are likely afraid to end up like Julian Assange, instead of seeing him as an inspiration and trying to emulate his brilliance and courage.
Why Gaza Palestine & the Israeli Occupation?
So … now we get down to the brass tacks as they say … and it is relevant to talk about this in the context of the SMO in Ukraine and the USA/UK/EU/NATO’s proxy war against Russia China and Iran … because this is the real reason why the Palestinian people have been so abused.
What we have in Russia and China, are two of the oldest nations on the planet, which may have been abused (and significantly so), but they were never fully broken, and now they have learned their lessons about the kind of psychos who run western society and hold us all captive, so they know full well what they have to do to protect themselves … but this isn’t enough to make those western nut-jobs quit the fight, and as a consequence of this, having failed once prior to Napoleon (that I know of, though can’t remember the name), then failed with Napoleon, then failed with Hitler as a proxy, partially succeeded but eventually failed with internal sabotage via Gorbachev Yeltzin and others, and now failing one more time through Zelensky … but unfortunately for the Palestinians, they just happened to be in the perfect position geographically to constitute the backup plan, which destabilises the Arabic world, keeps them divided, and places a blockage between Asia/Eurasia and Africa.
Once again, it is a simple matter of money and power behind all this.
For the exact same reasons (money and power) they chose the Ukrainians as cannon fodder, because the territories unlawfully ceded to create the state of Ukraine from the Soviet Union - particularly in the East in Donbass, but not exclusively or only in the East - are rich agricultural lands, which block Russia’s access to the Black Sea, hence the obsession with Crimea, and which contain rich deposits of metals like titanium and other resources. Not to mention, it is of course quite nice weather down by the Black Sea coast compared to colder regions in the North, so it’s a great place for real estate development.
This is essentially the core of the reasons why Blackrock Vanguard and other ‘investment’ firms have gambled so heavily on the Ukraine project … and since they didn’t have much in the way of a backup plan, and presumed the inevitability of their victory, they’re now panicking, as they watch not only hundreds of billions of dollars getting flushed down the toilet, but also the lost opportunity of raping it all following their expected victory over Russia, then moving on to rape the rest of Russia, followed or simultaneously to further rape of Syria then Iran, and China … because this is all they are capable of, rape murder and theft, and apparently they consider it beneath them to invest in the lives of regular people, through education, health, roads, telecommunications and so on, and to just benefit from the creative and technical output of a stable happy society … apparently this wasn’t good enough for them.
Does Israel ‘exist’ and does it have any ‘rights’?
The answer to this question depends of course on who you ask, but not in my mind due to any really viable arguments, instead, the answer is certain that it is not a valid state and it has no rights, but as political and other systems are so easily corrupted by greed money power etc., they have simply forced their way into a situation where they have no valid place, and sadly, either other nations were not in a position to challenge them, or they foolishly elected not to do so in the past, and as a consequence, allowed the abuse to continue, and allowed the Israelis to entrench themselves.
The Law of Hypocrisy:
So far as the law is concerned, and while this is a whole other topic unto itself, which perhaps I will write about at a later date, we could summarise a lot about the law by stating what I call “The Law of Hypocrisy”, which put simply, states that:
- IF the roles were reversed
- AND someone did to you what you were doing to them
- AND you would argue not only against the very same position taken by someone else
- BUT ALSO argue against the exact same ‘logic’ (or argument) used to justify it
- THEN your case is invalid
- BECAUSE it is hypocritical
Now … I wrote it in that point form, so that it would be clear to see each stage of thinking, as components of a whole logical argument.
In logic we deal with these kinds of logic constructs:
- IF THEN ELSE
- AND OR NOT
- INCLUSIVE EXCLUSIVE
- UNION INTERSECTION
… and so on, which I hope you can remember or see the similarities from doing maths in early secondary school (high school), though you most likely would have seen such things in the context of Venn Diagrams and Sets, but there is a hell of a lot more to it, and any discussion of Law which is contrary to such principles, cannot be considered a valid discussion of law, no matter what legislation of “legal expert” says otherwise, as the law is subservient to these principles of Natural Law - ie:
the laws of logic and the laws of physics are laws of nature and thus constitute Natural Law, and you cannot have a valid legal argument without obeying the laws of logic, nor can you have valid forensic/physical evidence without the laws of physics, thus all other law is subservient.
Rough Historical Summary:
I am not by any means a history buff or expert, but the following is accurate enough for the purposes of argument, and with all this (above) in mind, now we need to discuss the history of the matter:
- The area that is Palestine (regardless of any Israeli occupation) was never wholly - even in the tales told - a land called “Israel”, and while part of it may have been, it was never the entire area, and more importantly, the only claims that it did exist all come from one set of sources, and we cannot be sure of their veracity … so no matter the truth of it, Israelis couldn’t possibly have a claim over the whole of Palestine, nor even as much as they have taken;
- Even if we conclude that there used to be a place called Israel in the ancient past, and even if you further concluded that it did constitute a justification for conquest of the entirety of Palestine, you’d still have to admit the following - either: A - The Israelites were Arabic and African, not European, and this is the only way the claim to the land can be valid, or; B - The Israelites were northern invaders (European Scandinavian Germanic Celtic or whatever), and thus had no business being there at that time either;
- Go look at a map and then find the older maps that exist, you will see that before 1948 there was no Israel, it didn’t exist … then see that even when it was a place inside the Ottoman Empire, the region was still called Palestine, there was no Israel … then go look at the maps before that, there was Galilee Samaria & Phoenicia in the North (where pro Israeli’s claim was an ancient Israel), and Judea in the South, but still no valid citations of any Israel … assuming they existed, the Israelites were a small colony, not a nation, and if they weren’t locals, then they were northern invaders - NOTE: Wikipedia is a completely corrupted source these days, so ignore their unfounded claims that Samaria WAS Israel, as this has no basis in evidence.
- So the British of course started interfering in the region the moment they realised the value of the land strategically and with respect to oil resources, and when the Ottoman Empire broke up, and we were left with Palestine, the British had a long period of ruling it or at least severely interfering, I cannot say I know much about that time, but I am sure it is likely quite typical of their colonial interference elsewhere … and of course we get things like the Balfour Declaration leading to the uninvited and unwanted insertion of the European Israelis, the occupation of Palestinian lands, the displacement of Palestinians, and then eventually the Nakba genocide, though I am not sure if this refers to all the attacks on Palestinian villages over the decades, or just one brutal period of intense ethnic cleansing by the Israelis.
- Prior to all of which British interference, Palestine was a peaceful secular nation, where Christians Muslims and Jews lived alongside each other with equal rights, and everyone was relatively happy (if we ignore the British occupation) … so there was never any need for a Jewish state, and any argument for it can only be said to be based on hypocrisy, as it completely ignores the needs of the Muslims and Christians and anyone else who was present … if ever there was a better argument for the principle of “Separation of Church and State”, I am not sure what it would be, because there was never any need for any of this.
Now as I said, I am no historian, BUT, the only thing you can trust Wikipedia for is stuff they cannot lie about, for example, if you want to know the atomic mass of an element, they cannot lie about that, because there is nothing but science involved in it, no opinions, just science, and proper measurement and units of measurement ... and while there may be error, it won't be significant enough to invalidate the answer, and when such error is discovered and a better method of determining a more accurate answer developed, all sources update to the new method, that is just how science works.
Similarly, you could trust Wikipedia for the circumference of the Earth or something like that ... BUT ... the moment you get into human history and things which it is easy to lie about and get away with it, you should consider Wikipedia to be a source that will lie and has lied every single time there is an agenda they're supporting which is asking them to change the reported 'facts' to suit ... and if you do not know which things they are lying about, then you must treat them as a source where ALL such things have been lied about. Now, this doesn't mean you cannot use them as a source in terms of checking what they say, checking their references, reading those sources, looking for additional references and so on, but remember, just because they didn't use a source, doesn't mean it doesn't exist or isn't valid, and just because they did use a source doesn't mean that source is valid ... all of which means, they are unreliable, not to mention the fact they have been busted many times (and I have seen it myself with my own eyes) changin all sorts of explanations (even seemingly trivial ones) to suit an agenda.
A good technique I use when comparing contrary views, is to ask myself the question:
- IF this statement is true
- THEN the logic used would have to be valid
- AND THEREFORE by the same logic and conclusion, the following things would also have to be true ...
... and when you ask that question in that way, you can often find all sorts of logical inconsistencies, where the asserted truth and logic to justify it, are contradicted by well established and irrefutable truths elsewhere.
So, what we have are conflicting sources, but anyone older than 40 who did any study on this matter, should remember that it was only really in the last 2-3 decades that they really accelerated the process of rewriting the history books, and only since the advent and ubiquity of the internet that the process sped up further … sadly we have younger generations without access to older libraries, and the books and maps printed for decades, wherein there is no mention of any Israel at any stage of history, and at best there was only biased sources via religious texts, not particularly well backed up by anything else.
On the positive side, people have uploaded scanned images of these older texts, whereupon the ruling class of course react by suddenly being concerned about copyright laws, and in the background they try to silo original sources and put them behind paywalls and do anything else they can to prevent access.
I have a friend whose boyfriend worked for some time at The Australian Bureau of Statistics, which used to be pretty much a publicly funded and free to the public source of relatively unbiased information, but he told me a story many years ago (over a decade now I think) about how entire archives were being siloed, sold off to private interests, put behind paywalls and so on.
So the forward planning for dumbing society down even further has been well underway for a very long time, and if you think people are stupid brainwashed misinformed and gullible now, I can only say that if you don’t join the fight, it is going to get worse before it gets better.
Conclusion:
So, back to our original thought about fear of the other … I think you can see where I was going with all that, we have a population scared and stressed by economic and other pressures, without necessarily any access to original copies of documents, except via digital forms, and which are being hidden and concealed or destroyed by powerful people while they replace it or modify it with other contrary information, and in a place like Israeli occupied Palestine, you have a population of utterly brainwashed and hateful people, who have no relationship with reality whatsoever, compulsory military service, and pretending to be civilians as a means of arguing “self-defence” when their entire occupation is unlawful, and at best based on some of the most dodgy claims anyone has ever made about anything.
These people fear “the other” just as brainwashed Ukrainians fear the other, and just as brainwashed westerners are taught to fear the other … the only real difference being that in Ukraine and occupied Palestine, the Ukrainians and Israelis live right next to the people they are brainwashed to fear and hate … whereas the rest of us westerners only see it by vicariously by proxy and correspondence, so it is not as immediate a threat, and cannot be made to be quite the same threat no matter what lies they tell us … so westerners have a detached anger fear and hatred, without thought of consequences, because it is never going to affect them directly (or at least, so they believe) … hence it is very easy to fail to think critically, because there’s little or no perceivable consequence for failing to do so (at least in the short term and immediacy of each round of fear mongering propaganda).
It is up to those of us who have the ability to explain, to hopefully wake them up enough they might actually think for a change, but they are still faced with an internet as a primary source of information which is polluted by propaganda and controlled by wealthy interests who are happy to brainwash as many people as it takes to achieve their objectives.
I do not have the resources myself to be able to gather together the people required to create the solutions I see to these and other issues, so all I can say to you is that I will do my best to use my voice for good, and if I get enough support through this project, then I will eventually be able to move on to simultaneously working on other solutions to the problems of the world, and which is what I really wanted to do in the first place, but implementing my vision would take a vast amount of resources beyond what I have at present, and I can only get there via a mysterious benefactor who just gives me everything I need and says “go for it, let me know if there is anything else I can do”, or if that benefactor is made of many smaller benefactors who can help me get this and other projects going, so that I can build up to those bigger solutions.
